Summer approaching... lots of new releases and a lot going on. More to come of course! This summer seems promising.
Here is something from Sweden. Abdulla Rashim made it this month with his debut album released on Northern Electrics (2x12" vinyl, CD, cassette and digital)
He's been rocking the scene for a while with releases with Prologue, Semantica and his own label. But this artist is covered with mystery somehow. His style fits perfectly with the deep dark trippy Mediterranean and central Europe techno wave. For me it was love in first sight.
The album... diverse, interesting, experimental. I did highlight some tracks. ''Path Inwards'' a trippy, ambient piece, a true path inwards, ''No borders'' opens the gates to the universe, ''Moral Blinds'' the peak, loved ''Afar Depression'' 's atmospheric elements within techno lines. Through ''No God'' he brings us down to theta brain waves and makes his way to the exit with ''Unanimity''.
