Admittedly, I don’t “mark out” as much as I used to, unfortunately, especially outside of NXT, but Seth bringing back the curb stomp blackout. I did.
I love that move, it was my favourite finisher. I’ve never stopped missing it, I always hoped it would come back.
While Seth is still my favourite guy, there was something missing with him, the face rebuilding with Ambrose filled a lot of gaps but there was just a piece of the puzzle missing. Like he wasn’t fully Seth Rollins.
That move was the piece. That move was so synonymous with his rise from Shield betrayal to Mr MITB to Wrestlemania cash in to WWE Champion.
That time was the very best of Seth Rollins, and it’s weird to say but that move coming back, it’s like.. he’s back. that Seth Rollins, the architect, is back.
