Sometimes, we push God so far to escape Him. There are times that we really feel so guilty of all the things we did to the point that we are so ashamed to face God. There are other people who will stop going to church because they’re too ashamed.

However, God is not like that. He doesn’t want us to push Him away everytime we sin; He wants us to draw closer to Him and ask for forgiveness. It is not about us going to church but it is about God inviting us to go to church, so we should not stop going to church because we are so sinful. 

No matter how ugly we are, no matter how we pushed God, there’s nothing that can separate us from His love. He will always love us and will always invite us to His temple because He wants us to ask for forgiveness. The Church shouldn’t be a place of righteous people, but it should be a hospital for sinners. 

We should evaluate ourselves more often about who detached, because God is always there but we, however, ran away from Him. We can never outrun God because His love is always there bounded by the blood of Jesus Christ. 

Next time, we should always remember that His love is always there and instead of running away from Him, let us embrace Him and His love and ask for forgiveness.

So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!
