Today was a dim day. So I went for a run in the cold to exorcise the bad vibes. Writing and running - my antidote to get to the end of a stress cycle. I watched snow fall or slowly slip from roofs in piles crashing in loud thumps on the ground while I ran. It took that final bit of powder to send a huge pile to land loudly on grass or concrete or more snow. It reminded me of constant disappointment. That crushing feeling of being let down time and time again. Eventually, the little things get to you, like powder on a snow pile. So I ran.
