When I started reading Wings of Fire, I hadn't seen a single illustration, and I also started reading the book at night. I don't know how it happened, but for half the first book, I imagined Glory as a feathered dragon, not a scaly one.

So, yeah, no one expected it, but here it is, a feathered Glory.

I recently reread the entire wings of fire series for the first time since late highschool and fell in love with them all over again. I could not get this vision to stop plaguing me until I put it down on paper. Arc 1 you are so beloved to me.
