1. Atla was made guildmaster for the Nothing’s Men when she was 20, after her father could no longer fulfill his duties and wished to retire. At the time, Brynden was maybe a year old? So when Grampy Stark couldn’t babysit Brynden, Atla would bring him to meetings with her and casually play with him while discussing everything from war strategies to heist plans to how to redecorate the dining hall. Brynden grew up sitting on his Mom’s knee during important meetings, so he developed a good understanding of politics from a young age.
2. When Brynden was around 14, Atla arranged for him to study at the College of Winterhold. Prior to that, he was a skinny little shit of a kid who everyone in the Thieves Guild knew due to the TG & the NM members collaborating here and there. During his time studying in Winterhold, puberty hit Bryn like a fucking brick. At 18 Brynden left the college to study further in Cyrodiil. At 24 Brynden returned to Riften to accompany his mom on NM business. If it weren’t for the trademark Stark red hair, no one would recognized him. Brynden went from a runt to a handsome 6’3 nobleman with beautiful glowing locks. #glowup
