Loki sat there leaning against a small building near S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. He was tired an weak from using so much black magic to return. Frigga had taken pity on her poor abused, cadged adopted son after seeing how the other prisoners were treated. She hadn’t the slightest wish to have such pain inflicted on her little boy so she set him free, allowing him to return to Midgard.
His return was different then before, Last time he came to rule, to lead an army….But this time…he came to apologize. He hadn’t the slightest clue that the Agent he Stabbed had survived. He didn’t even know the man’s name, if he had a family….all Loki knew, was that the man was in his way, trying to stop him, and the Tesseract pounding in his brain caused him to inflict the worst of pain on a mortal being so weak and frail…..Death….
Feeling a drop of water hit his face, he looked up as the rain fell down upon him, falling faster by the minute. Not only was Loki weak from the great amount black magic used. But his wounds from the battle, being slammed around by the hulk were still quite fresh. He hadn’t been able to heal them, being thrown in the nasty, dirty prison right away. His body was covered in filth, dirt, and grime. Most of his wounds we’re most likely infected by now.
Coughing a bit, Loki tried to move, knowing he couldn’t stay there much longer. “I….Must….try…” he spoke to himself before falling over into a large puddle of mud. He had to Try and make his way down the hill to make it there. Peering over the cliff as the rain poured down, he took quick notice that the building had been rebuilt, remembering the implosion that had happened soon after his first arrival. "how long has it been since I've been gone?" he wondered before Feeling the ground slipping out from underneath him. he attempted to move again, this time slipping on the mud, toppling down the hill till he hit the bottom, slamming into the barbwire covered gate, becoming tangled in it. Letting out a pained wheeze he remained laying there, unable to move, his eyes slowly slipping closed.
