Kensuke had decided to run into town. Kiyo refused to move the Dojoji compound back to the Dojoji village, so Kensuke refused to, as well. Seeing someone familiar, he blinked and took a step forward, hoping it was Misao. A run-in with her would be time to catch up on things.

"Misao-san?" Blinking his blue eyes curiously, he gently placed a hand on her shoulder, raising one thin, light blonde eyebrow.

"Kensuke!" Misao smiled, waving at the shy boy whom she had become acquainted with quite some time ago. "It's so nice to meet you again."

Kensuke jolted, turning around quickly and blushing a bit at the sight of the teenage girl. "A-Ah, Misao!!" Waving back, he nodded and bowed at her. "N-Nice to see you again, too."

How much Kensuke wanted to tell Misao the truth was immense, but he couldn't. Not only would Kyo slice his head off without a thought, but he would be rejected for sure. She loved him, after all, right? The tengu already laid emotional claim to the dear Senka Maiden.

Nor could Kensuke deal with her horrible fate. Pushing those thoughts away, he smiled at her, trying to show that he was alright.

{Kairi & Kyo} ❦

It was way too early in the morning for Kairi to get up. She slept overnight with Kyo as she hadn't seen him for so long. Laying down beside him, she snuggled into his chest but was already awake. She was unsure if he was awake too so she kept quiet for awhile. Letting out a yawn, she wanted to make sure Akira-chan and Taro were okay. Except she didn't want to make a move as it might walk him up. 

"Kyo..." she whispered. "Are you awake?"

Akira-chan tagged along with Kairi while heading towards his house. It's been awhile since she last saw him when he was a full demon and was actually happy to spend time with him once again. This time, she wanted to talk about a few things before doing anything else. It just seemed like an important topic to her. She knocked on the door while the pup sat down and waited ffor an answer.
