I'm so glad P'Nuchy raised the issue of "Beauty Standard". Tbh this issue is always interesting and important to be discussed until now. Here, Eugine's friends painted on Eugine's body which is interpreted as 'Flaws'. Of course. Beauty standards are shaped by our society. For me beauty standard is ridiculous. Because the standards that are formed will never end. You know, being a woman is really hard sometimes because of these beauty standards. There are always flaws discussed in the female body. For example, skin color, body proportion, hair and etc. The question is, what kind of body that fits the standard? We, women, like shaped to hate ourselves and feel dissatisfied with the bodies we have today. Because naturally, that's human nature; easy to find fault and dissatisfied.
ACTUALLY, it's ok if you want to use make up to feel pretty and stay confident. It's ok using skincare to keep skin healthy and well-groomed. The point is what must be instilled in our society is a healthy mentality/mindset where we can accept ourselves. Accept 100%. When it comes to that mindset, we can be comfortable with ourselves. Comfortable with what we use. Comfortable with what we do. If we don't learn to respect our own bodies, who else? Beauty is self-acceptance and fuck beauty standard. ️🥰✨
