Do you know where i can head homestuck^2? 👉👈
Oh, of course! You can read it all here!
Though, the first eeeeh, 400 or so pages of the comic are kinda hit or miss. Some good stuff in there, but god when an upd8 dropped the ball on something... it really dropped the ball on something.
So far, the new updates have been nothing but BANGERS, so hopefully they just keep up this trend.

Set post S1. Daredevil may be the Man Without Fear, but Matt Murdock is terrified. Especially when the law isn’t enough and Daredevil can’t save everyone. It’s said that there is someone in Hell’s Kitchen who will hear a cry for help, but what if the person calling out is Matt? Who saves him when Daredevil can’t?
Whatever Matt was going to say was lost to the storm. He wavered, his legs buckling. Foggy was out of the doorway and across the roof before Matt’s knees hit the surface, his friend collapsing against him in a tangle of trembling limbs.
“I gotcha,” Foggy promised. Karen felt tears blend with the smack of snow across her cheek. “I gotcha, buddy.”

What has accured so far~
The continuous ringing of her doorbell made Lilly hate the day already. Her head throbbed from a hangover as she stumbled through her pitch black apartment, not daring to turn on the lights. She whispered under her breath as she got to the living room, “Just around this chair and it’s a straight shot to the door that hides the person I’m about to murder.” The back of her hand hits the padded armrest and she goes to pivot in front of it. What she wasn’t expecting though, was to stub her toe on something. As she grabbed her foot, and clenched her teeth against pain that shouldn’t feel so severe, she goes to sit down in the chair as she cusses her empty memory of last night. Who moved things? What had she stubbed her toe on? And what the hell caused her to get drunk?
As she sat down the feel of the chair confused her even more. Reaching her hands she started patting around. “An arm? …A leg? …A broad and wonderfully sculpted chest-oh my FUCKING GOD?!?!” She yelled out as the events of the day before came flooding back to her. She scrambled across the floor to the light switch and flipped it on. The light stabbed at her eyes but she blinked it away and shaded them with her hands. As Lilly sat on the floor against the wall, and the front door rattled as a worried voice started yelling if she was alright, she looked back at the chair and the man like machine that sat in it. His eyes were closed and he sat motionless. Lilly looked at him and wondered just how good of a haggler the guy from the antique shop was to get her to buy such a weird piece. But then she remembered the price, 100 bucks, and the old man’s plea the get the dust collecting heap out of his shop she he can set up his Madonna shrine.
A chorus of pounding at her door pulled her out of the memory and back to present day. She glanced at the emotionless face again, a tingle shooting through her core, before getting up and looking at the security monitor by the door. Through the camera she could see her personal assistant banging on the door with a look of fear and worry on her face. Lilly unlocked many of the locks but left the door chain on. “What do you want?” She asked the woman bluntly.
Sarah was the epitome of organized chaos. Her short blonde hair looked like she just got out of bed but the sleek lines of her perfectly tailored suit contrasted that. When she heard her bosses cold response she sighed with relief but kept her guard up. Looking through the crack of the door she looked down at her boss who, as far as she could, was wearing a baggy sweatshirt, ripped jeans and one sock. Sarah looked at the piercing blue eye starring at her and spoke, “I know that this is only the second day of your vacation, and you told me not to bother you, but-“ And before she could finish her sentence the door slammed shut and she could hear the multiple locks falling into place. The intercom crackled to life and Lillian Kinney’s powerfully delicate voice came through. “If anyone is making business propositions I told you to tell them that my schedule is already almost completely booked for the next three months after my two week vacation and that I will not be taking up business during my personal time no matter what deal they try to cut. If they would like the can file with my secretary an application to be seen briefly during one of my few remaining free periods, after I am no longer on vacation. But applications will only be accepted if they show two forms of proof of a donation larger than fifty thousand to any of my affiliated charity organizations. The larger the donations the more likely they are to be seen earlier. There will be no ifs, ands, or buts. Have a great day Sarah.” Sarah gazed at the speaker with a look of defeat and turned to leave. An ear splitting screech made her jump and glance back. “Also, tell the maintenance man that if he doesn’t come up here and fix this damn thing by the end of the day I’ll be angry and won’t offer him anything to eat while he works. Good bye.” Sarah laughed and shook her head, knowing that no matter how stressful this work was she was glad that she worked for someone like Miss Kinney.
Lilly rested her forehead against the cool door and stood there for a moment and followed her breathing. After calming down her excited nerves she turned and walked over to man… machine? He sat in the chair the delivery men had sat him in. She peered close at it’s life like features. Had the deranged antique shop owner hadn’t told her otherwise she would have thought this couldn't be anything but a real person. She pulled an ottoman over and sat down in front of him and gazed upon his features. They seemed soft and gentle for a man but that added to the mysterious feeling about him. She leaned closer and laid her hand upon his cheek. It felt soft and smooth like silk and slightly cold against her warm hands. Lilly’s hand swept across the well manicured beard until her fingers brushed against his petal soft lips.
A tingle zinged through her again has she remembered the note with the instructions on it. Looking down at herself she finally noticed that she was still in the same clothes from yesterday so she rummaged through each pocket until she found the parchment. It felt old within her grasp and she wondered how it still held together through the rough night she gave it. Before she could even open the thin booklet the words on the front jumped out to her. The writing seemed like it was hand written in a graceful script and it said, ‘Kiss to activate.’ Setting the booklet aside without further reading she hugged her knees and looked at him some more. She wanted to see what his eyes looked like, quietly hoping they were a jeweled emerald green. Curiosity getting the better of her she got up and leaned over him, hands resting on his knees, and kissed him.
~
The machine sat in its limbo state as it has been for decades now. Then that faintly recognizable feeling of his heart beating for the first time it what must be decades. Finally, his blood started to pump through his old yet still strong body. The next feeling of stiffness suddenly courses through his entire body. A rather uncomfortable feeling by any means.
This was the moment that the machine made it's first visible movements in the time that Lily owned him. The movement was his chest expanding, as if he took a deep breathe through his nose, in an attempt at getting its body some air. The machine slowly formed his lips to go along with his masters warm and gentle lips.
Finally, the eyes of the machine finally opened, showing his two emerald green orbs to her. He noticed to her eyes were closed. He took this opportunity to slowly pull away from the embrace and spoke. "What can I do for you today, master?" His voice suave and proper, just like a proper gentleman would sound.
~
When the feeling of his lips retreated she had no other thought on her mind than to follow. Eyes closed she leaned forward more, seeking the lost touch, before his voice broke through the fog of her mind like a beckon. Opening her eyes she saw pools of breath taking green and she froze. Lilly’s hands unconsciously squeezed tighter on his knees as the smell of his breath, something her mind could only label as an old perfumed clock makers shop, begged her to realize to true length that he had probably sat covered in dust and unmoving.
And then it dawned on her that not only did a machine speak to her but it also called her master. She jumped back with an expression of shock and surprise and consequentially tumbled over the ottoman behind her, landing on the carpeted floor with a thud. She looked back at him in dismay and as he moved to get up she scrambled evermore backwards.
~
The machine was more than a little confused while watching his masters reaction to his activation. She obviously started him up, so she must've been fully aware of the effect of doing so. The machine then took a few seconds to look around, trying to figure out where he was. This place was extremely unfamiliar to him, this wasn't his last master's room. He finally looked back at the woman who activated him, finally realizing that she wasn't his master either.
The machine slowly stood up from his seat. He took two steps towards her, slowly extending out his arms to her, offering her some assistance. "You're obviously not my master. May I ask who you are m'lady?" His voice now softer then it was before.
~
As the machine extended his arm toward her she expected his movements to be restricted and sudden like the machines she saw in online videos. So, as he gracefully offered assistance and spoke words with words as gentle as a summer breeze, she sat there with her mouth hanging open in amazement. It took a moment for Lilly to process it all before finally taking his and be pulled up slightly faster then she expected.
She craned her neck to see his face, and with his hand still clasped in hers, finally answered his question. “Uh... my name Lillian Kinney but you can call me Lilly... who is your Master? And do you know what the date is?”
~
The machine seemingly froze in place when she asked her questions. The machines "brain" tried it's absolute best to recollect that information from its memory banks. It took the machine just under five minutes before it finally came up with an answer. "M-my masters name was Vaughn..... And the date is July fifth, 1897." Was his response
Just based on the speed that he gave the answer can easily be compared to an old computer being booted up after an expanded time being shut off. The machine is on and ready to work, but getting the information stored inside hasn't loaded in yet.
The machine shook his head. "I apologize for taking so long to answer. Is my master nearby?" He asked as he looked down at Lily's face, appearing to not notice the fact that she was still holding as if it forgot about it.
~
1897? How can a machine so lifelike be built in 1897? And what happened back then to cause him to be tossed aside and left to sit for so long? A million questions ran through Lilly’s head as she looked into his eyes. She didn’t know wether or not she should inform him right away about the fact that it wasn’t 1897 anymore or the fact that his master has probably been dead for fifty years or more. If he was some kind of AI he’d ask questions and then move on. But if he was life like enough to display human like emotions he might act unpredictably. She took amount to think about his question before answering.
“He isn’t nearby, and I’m not sure we will be able to see him.” She clasped both his hands in hers and squeezed tight. Lilly wanted to hug him but restrained herself from doing so. “A lot has changed since the last time you were awake. And a lot of time has passed...”
~
The machine stood there as he listened to the woman explain the current situation. He looked down at the woman's hands gently taking hold of his. He found the gesture odd, but it didn't think too much about, seeing it as a normal human interaction.
The information given to the machine would be worrisome. "I see madam. And you must be the one that reactivated? And you must be the one that my master assigned to be my new master while he's gone?" He asked, needing to find out what his circumstances.
Starting with the best! @r0b1nman ~ Name: He doesn’t remember his original name, so he best responds to boy or servant. Age: Unknown but he appears to be in his early twenties Height: 5’11” Weight: 214lbs
Appearance: He normally wears at least dress shoes, dress pants, and a short sleeve dress shirt. He will occasionally wear a jacket as well.
Personality: The boy is a very respectful and quiet individual. He’s made to be a great listener that’ll only agree with his master’s will. The boy always acts on his best behavior and is always proper. Other than that he doesn’t have a lot when it comes to personality.
Background: Back in the 1700’s, there was a rich family in the state of New York that had everything. The family was known as the Kingsley family. The Kingsley family were well known in England and other parts of Europe for their engineers and businessmen.
One member that stood out even amongst them was a man named Johnathan Kingsley. Johnathan stood out mainly for his endless designs for moving machines. They weren’t basic wheels and gears moving a small object either. These machines were moving similar to real people. They could even follow most basic commands.
It took Johnathan started working on these machines in 1719 when he was only twenty-five years old, but it wouldn’t be until 1750. where he finally made his first public use model. The machine had a body of copper, where it showed all of the gears and pieces, something that was truly off-putting if looked at; luckily they obeyed all commands given with no hassle.
Johnathan made his family more money in one year of building and selling these machines in one year than the entire Kingsley family made in the last millennium.
During the time that Johnathan spent creating his ultimate machine, he spent some time growing his own little family. He married himself to a lovely young woman from Spain he knew from his church group. They got married when they were both twenty-seven years old.
The pair were married for three years before they finally had their first and only child; a boy named William. William was Johnathan greatest moment in his mind. The idea of finally creating an actual living being inspired the inventor to try even harder to make the most realistic robotic servant as possible.
William grew up to a fairly successful buisness man himself, similar to many other members of the Kingsley family. William had a surprisingly prosperous series of lumber mills and precious metal mines when William was only eighteen years old!
William finally decided to spread the Kingsley family to the newest editions of Britain, the American Colonies. Even though Johnathan and his wife told him multiple times that he should just stay in Europe until the, at the time, small conflict with the colonies settles down before William goes to expand.
Being overconfident in the power of the British army, he sailed across the ocean and started his own American buisness dream.
On Taverns // inspired by Rumi circa 13th century
The tavern is a kind of glorious hell that human beings enjoy and suffer and then push off from in their search of truth. The tavern is a dangerous region where sometimes disguises are necessary, but never hide your heart, Rumi urges. Keep open there. A breaking apart, a crying out into the street, begins in the tavern, and the human soul finds its way home.
-The Essential Rumi, translated by Coleman Barks with John Moyne
