Lighting up her cigarette, Alyx pulled the sleeves of her too-big winter coat. It hung off her frame, barely offering any protection against the biting cold of the sleepless city. She usually just people watched as she walked home from the diner but she had a feeling that tonight would be a little different. She blended into the crowd as best that she could, though her hair stood out, like always. Flicking her cigarette, the ashes fell to the ground as something caught her attention, causing the girl to stop short in the middle of the crowd.
