I’ve been realizing more and more people hate Christian’s and Christianity as a whole. They mock us, they disrespect us they attack us and assume that we are hateful people , and while some individuals may be like that and claim that they’re Christian, if they have hate in their heart like that then they’re not. Regardless, one cannot generalize Christianity or the church as a whole. There’s so many stereotypes about other religions as well as ethnic groups, but when people stereotype those it’s a problem ( as it should be) but why not the same energy for Christianity?
The truth is, no matter what we do, the world will always hate us, Jesus understands this the most as He was mocked, beaten, spat on and crucified. Jesus knows the world will hate who believes in Him, Jesus says in 1 John 3:13 “Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you”. But honestly, If the world hates us it’s good because that means we are in the world but not of the world, we don’t participate in worldly stuff ( fornication, drunkenness, partying, murder, idolizing celebrities, idolizing material items and money). We’re not supposed to fit in this world, we’re supposed to be different, we’re supposed to be the light in the darkness and the salt of the earth. So let the world hate us, because we love God more than the world. 💗✝️
