Specter pumpkins
What a nice rainy January morning for harvesting a pumpkin!
This little Jarrahdale comes in at 3lbs after two months on the vine. That’s small for the variety but then again pretty good for a winter pumpkin, and I’m very happy to have it considering what a hard time I’ve had with c. maxima varieties up til now. I’m not totally certain how much ripening it has left to do since its final color is blue-grey, but we’ll see what happens after a few weeks in the house.
That concludes my 2019 pumpkin patch!
