Nightmare fight me
Nightmare: One of our characters will have a nightmare.
Saki was Luca’s brother. Not biologically, of course, but his brother nonetheless.
There was something about the blond that brought a smile onto Luca’s face. Although the details of their relationship was unclear to her, she could certainly tell that he was someone very important to the one she considers her close friend. He was important to him, therefore he was important to her.
The brunette was finally on her way home from a part-time job, one she had kept a secret for various reasons, only to return late at night. Saki seemed to have dozed off, fast asleep on the living room’s couch. Working hard, huh? A soft chuckle escaped her rosen-colored lips, the young woman quickly making her way to place a blanket over the sleeping figure. Though the moment her hand had brought the blanket atop the other, he had nearly bumped into her face as he awoken in a cold sweat, his expression like that of a man who had seen a specter.
Comfort wasn’t necessarily her forte, nor could she ever find the right words to say. Her own eyes could only stare back at wide emerald hues. At a moment’s notice, her gaze softened as the girl had wrapped her arms around him, leaning her head into his shoulder.
"It’s alright, Saki."
She believed herself in no position to ask what the matter was. Why, she never asked for anything that was not right for her to ask. Saki had always been shrouded in mystery for her, his upbringing and former home known mostly by Luca. Being able to see such a look on his face, one of terror and of utmost worry, she feels as though she had seen a side of him that he kept secret. Though perhaps she was over thinking yet again.
As for now… Saki is…
"You’re okay now."
Her important friend.
Wormhole!!
Wormhole: Are you the type to cut corners or take short-cuts? Give some examples. OR, for the next 2 hours, you are certain you see actual wormholes all over the city; do, try and jump through these “holes” you “see”.
One moment, she had been bouncing an old tennis ball against the ceiling, and the next the green ball disappeared into a large shimmering portal of blue. Her hand still outstretched, she barely had time to react to its disappearance before the ball reappeared in a portal of similar shape and consistency.
The ball, which seemed none the worse for wear despite its physics-breaking journey, simply continued its downward trajectory to land with thud against Elsa's forehead.
And yet, the blonde did not seem to care at all for the aching of her head as she simply stared mesmerized at this new wonder of nature. This miracle which seemed to be slowly replicating itself all over the room.
It was all so surreal.
Doors with their destination clearly marked upon their surfaces extending the length of her walls, as one portal after another shimmered into existence.
And so...
It was with a running start that she dashed towards one portal, which hung upon her wall.
And ran face first into said wall having travelled no further than her room proper.
And receiving no more than a broken nose.
Life, Lie, Link, Period WE CAN DO THIS ALL NIG H T
Life: Life is full of ups and downs, share your muse’scurrent lowest moment and their highest!
⊰ { ღ } ▬ Lowest moment? Honestly, nothing beats the moment that her mother died. Highest moment though, now it has to be when she was able to see Luca once again. Seeing his face, seeing his smile, after so many years, it was definitely a blessing.
Lie: How good of a liar is your muse? A compulsive, instinctive one? Or are they the kind of person whosimply can’t convince anyone of anything untruthful?
⊰ { ღ } ▬ Terrible liar. Absolutely terrible. She can’t even fake a smile whenever she’s feeling like shit. If her mood has plummeted for whatever reason, it’s going to be obvious in her actions, a lacking of her usual cheeriness. The young woman can’t even hide any secrets from Carnation 3 without acting weird.
Link: It’s time. Tell us about your muse’s internet usageand their life on the web. Are they the same? A completelydifferent person? You can include secret internet hobbies too—
⊰ { ღ } ▬ Setsu online isn’t too different than in real life. Just look at her twitter for example. Some secret internet hobbies include watching sad anime movies, though she’ll tend to do that in the living room as well so it’s not particularly a secret.
Period: Ah yes, the perfect prompt to ask somethinginappropriate. Tell us about how your muse hasstruggled with puberty so far.
⊰ { ღ } ▬ Leave now, Saki Belkan.
Our Princess is in another castle!
This is the story of how the family of Carnation 3 expanded with one royal member.
»» Christmas Eve. It'd been a long time coming, scrounging up jobs and money just to get things to make people happy. Really, his roommates should give him more credit for what he does. Though, in their on way they show that they care, be it tiny jokes in the living room or behind closed doors. Dorii liked them all a great deal, after all, why would he had stuck around otherwise?
Maybe all this holiday cheer was getting to his emotions.
He didn't need this right now, he was looking for Saki. Did he maybe leave the apartment? Or maybe he was in his room and being strangely quiet. Was he just upset about the coffee pot and refusing to speak or something? It seemed likely knowing Saki.
Dorii had planned on leaving this gift until morning, for both Saki and Luca to find but maybe if the youngest was hiding in his room... he should set the gift up a bit early. Luca and Setsu were in the kitchen though and they'd end up making a fuss over it.
What a hassle.
So, he ended up at Saki's door, tapping on the wood. "Hey, Saki? You in here?"
❆Mistletoe YOU ME TO THE DEATH
☾✩☽┉┉It was their first Christmas together, just the three of them; Luca had been friends with Setsu since they were young, and Saki followed not too long after. Once their trio had been established, they were inseparable. Even college wouldn’t tear them apart—hence, the reason they’re currently living all together in the same city, same apartment, give or take one special freckled straggler.
Luca knew that they had all spent several Christmas in each other’s company, but for the first time, they were all they had and all they needed. Everyone was constantly disappearing without word (unusual, but unquestioned… they all had a secret income for the holidays, yet in a way it seemed everyone wordlessly knew).
One of these nights, Luca was the last to come back, which worked in his favor seeing as he had forgot his keys again. Saki opened the door with an expression that was carefully neutral, then alert, then fondly exasperated. "Again. Of course." Luca laughed, making to step through the threshold, when he heard a sharp gasp across the kitchen—
"It worked!" Setsu chirped excitedly. Luca and Saki shared a confused glance, then blinked at her. Soon enough Dorii too had poked his head out from the hall, then gave a languid grin.
"Told you it’d work." They shared a high five, and Saki’s eyes narrowed, while Luca continued to stare on, waiting for explanation. The two accomplices were unbearably pleased, and Setsu gestured to the top of the doorframe—where a humble pair of plastic holly leaves had been taped up, painted styrofoam berries hanging on for dear life.
A (very crude, very cheap) mistletoe.
Setsu’s eyes shimmered expectantly, while Dorii looked endlessly amused. "You have to kiss!" she giggled, all too willing to trade holiday cheer for their expense.
Saki scowled, but the tips of his ears were beginning to colour. Luca considered the situation, then smiled, seeing no harm in it all. Stepping forward, he pressed his lips to the crown of Saki’s head.
"I’m home."
Their audience made sounds of disappointment, but this wasn’t theirs; this was for Saki alone.

☾✩☽┉┉Best friends for life. They'd known each other for years, and had even been living under the same roof prior to moving here. They understood each other completely and saw eye to eye on most everything...
Which is why neither of them were particularly bothered by the coffee bean pentagram becoming a household item. Their roommates, however, were another matter.
"It's broken..." Absent mutter. Humorless laugh. Luca's in shock. The coffee pot is broken, and Carnation 3 is going to hell.
