Save Me: I’ll write a drabble about mycharacter saving yours or vise versa.

"Dorii Jin... can you retreat?"

This young man that goes by the name of Dorii Jin, encompassed by a shroud of mystery more so than Saki Belcan, has but appeared in her life one day. It was spontaneous. The freckled man had simply wormed his way into her relations, and now here the pair stands as friends. Whether the encounter was a mistake or simply coincidence, the answer is still unknown even till today. Her thoughts couldn’t help but go back to those summer evenings, in which a single moment had brought them so far. Shortly after their first encounter had their relationship strengthened.

If you can retreat, then retreat.

The circumstances of the situation at the time wasn’t too dire, as the words that rang in her mind made it out to be. A simple conversation between her and the other, a long walk home through the faint light of street lamps, brought about a lengthy talk with the pair.

Their little discussion had shifted to a simple talk of the past; Setsu about a young boy with raven hair and a kind smile she had dearly missed, and Dorii about a young woman who was no longer a part of the world. To say that both had encountered loneliness in their life is plausible, yet their feelings still debatable.

How about you? Can you retreat?

A sudden downpour had caught the two by surprise that day. Setsu let out a chuckle as she splashed around within the puddles, the taller brunet watching from a distance, smile on his face. Of course, staying out in such weather is bound to give the two a cold of sorts.

I just said…

It only applies if there’s somebody who cares about you.I don’t have any of those anymore.

She laced her fingers through his, gripping tightly as if holding on for dear life. And he, the same. Hand in hand, their only guide being the lamps that lined the streets, two lonely figures made their way through the night.

To say they are lonely, or if the solitude had affected him, such trivialities were of no importance. What the boy has thought of her, and what the girl had thought of him, perhaps their former impressions had changed now.

Don’t have those anymore?Well right now you have me, so that must count for something, right?

She couldn’t quite recall as to what the other’s reaction to her words were. Though what she could remember, and can still visibly see through her memories, was the wide grin that had stretched across his face.

"Thank you."

Setsu had earned a scowl from a blond with shimmering emerald eyes, reason one for returning home at such an ungodly hour, and reason two for bringing a complete stranger into the complex. She saved him from being drenched, she would say.

… or was it he that had saved her.

That night, a heavy weight was lifted from their chests. They had been saved from the pouring rain, of course, but also from an emotion buried deep into their hearts. Neither would admit it, but nether would deny it either.

Though perhaps their presence together had saved each other.

Nightmare fight me

Nightmare: One of our characters will have a nightmare.

Saki was Luca’s brother. Not biologically, of course, but his brother nonetheless.

There was something about the blond that brought a smile onto Luca’s face. Although the details of their relationship was unclear to her, she could certainly tell that he was someone very important to the one she considers her close friend. He was important to him, therefore he was important to her.

The brunette was finally on her way home from a part-time job, one she had kept a secret for various reasons, only to return late at night. Saki seemed to have dozed off, fast asleep on the living room’s couch. Working hard, huh? A soft chuckle escaped her rosen-colored lips, the young woman quickly making her way to place a blanket over the sleeping figure. Though the moment her hand had brought the blanket atop the other, he had nearly bumped into her face as he awoken in a cold sweat, his expression like that of a man who had seen a specter.

Comfort wasn’t necessarily her forte, nor could she ever find the right words to say. Her own eyes could only stare back at wide emerald hues. At a moment’s notice, her gaze softened as the girl had wrapped her arms around him, leaning her head into his shoulder. 

"It’s alright, Saki." 

She believed herself in no position to ask what the matter was. Why, she never asked for anything that was not right for her to ask. Saki had always been shrouded in mystery for her, his upbringing and former home known mostly by Luca. Being able to see such a look on his face, one of terror and of utmost worry, she feels as though she had seen a side of him that he kept secret. Though perhaps she was over thinking yet again.

As for now… Saki is…

Luca. … oh, what should I do? What should I do… to help you find happiness?

All her life, the young raven haired boy was always there by her side, always there to make her smile. All that she ever wanted was to make the other smile in return; give him the love he deserves, when all he’s done was care for others.

"Hey, Luca!"

She was eighteen years of age now, yet she couldn’t help but think back to childhood days. Moments with Luca were always vivid, brightly shining amongst all others.

There was one sliver of moment, the day of the harvest festival, that she kept close to her heart. It was shortly after her mother had died, the younger Setsu having briefly ran away from the painful memories at home. Everything reminded her of mum, and everything seemed to make her all the more mournful.

It was Luca that had taken her by the hand and brought her to the festival. It was him that had urged her to take her mind off of such things. 

As long as we’re happy, hand in hand. Let’s twirl around in circles.

The words rang in her mind, as clear as ever. There was nothing that she wanted anymore. Nothing, but to be forever at his side, forever with that smile she had seen that day. Not once did Setsu have the chance to repay him for his kindness.

So, how about we start now.

⊰ { ღ } ▬  Lowest moment? Honestly, nothing beats the moment that her mother died. Highest moment though, now it has to be when she was able to see Luca once again. Seeing his face, seeing his smile, after so many years, it was definitely a blessing.

⊰ { ღ } ▬  Terrible liar. Absolutely terrible. She can’t even fake a smile whenever she’s feeling like shit. If her mood has plummeted for whatever reason, it’s going to be obvious in her actions, a lacking of her usual cheeriness. The young woman can’t even hide any secrets from Carnation 3 without acting weird.

⊰ { ღ } ▬  Setsu online isn’t too different than in real life. Just look at her twitter for example. Some secret internet hobbies include watching sad anime movies, though she’ll tend to do that in the living room as well so it’s not particularly a secret.

Supernova

Supernova: These days, it seems impossible for anyone to be abig star, without also ending up in jail. How far would you go forthe ultimate fame and glory? OR, for the next 3 hours, you seemto think everyone sees you as old news, washed up and out of glory.

⊰ { ღ }  ▬  "I’ll become a star with my own skills!" is something she’d definitely say. As someone aspiring to be a professional baseball player, despite being a girl and all, she’s if going to work hard. Fame in general didn’t interest her, but her goal has already been set. Hell, she’d do anything to make it to the top. Setsu wouldn’t resort to using dirty methods though, she’s going to reach the top using her own power.

Wormhole, Saturn

Wormhole: Are you the type to cut corners or take short-cuts?Give some examples. OR, for the next 2 hours, you are certainyou see actual wormholes all over the city; do, try and jump through these “holes” you “see”.

⊰ { ღ }  ▬  Although Setsu seems particularly lazy, she, of course, is more determined on goals than looks seems to show. If by shortcuts you mean taking the easy way in life, the easier choice of two decisions, then that is something quite unlike her. She’ll brave through the difficulties no matter what it takes. Enough of this easy bullshit.

Taking short-cuts, in the literal sense, is also she doesn’t find herself doing often. Life itself is an adventure, so why spend your days rushing through paths when you can enjoy the scenery. If anything, Setsu would take the long way round rather than cutting corners.

Saturn: People are complex and full of layers; what are some of your layers? OR for the next 6 hours, you’ve become rather… one-dimensional and uninteresting.

⊰ { ღ }  ▬  It is indeed true that everyone have layers, even the simplistic Setsu with a one track mind. At times, the young woman can be a bit selfish, the desire to see a childhood friend of hers strong enough that she’d work for countless of hours just to live in the same city as him. At other moments she’ll be completely selfless, earning money simply to splurge it all for her friends. She probably has more layers than this, but for the moment that’s all you’re getting.
