I think the best thing about "Centaurworld" is how it has one main character who's a traumatised orphan who is so completely and utterly unable to see herself as having an existence outside of her war trauma that she nearly commits metaphorical suicide because she feels she's betrayed her best comrade just by changing to a cuddlier formand another main character who talks to his own farts.

And the one who talks to his farts is just as traumatized because of the strained, neglectful, and abusive relationship with his parents but he’s too messed up to properly communicate it and everyone just thinks he’s weird and silly

I honestly love shows that are like, “This is a wacky and silly world where everything is weird and nonsensical, just kidding, it’s war-torn and everyone’s traumatized and they’re being silly to cope,” that’s why I love Steven Universe and Adventure Time so much

This isn’t shipping related but all my Owl House peeps are in this section of tumblr so I'm posting this here anyway, I don't think I've ever really mentioned how much I love Braxas, he's such a little cutie pie and I just want to hug him, I love that "Yay!" is his catchphrase and he's so polite, like he has this deep menacing voice but he's just the sweetest little bean

Anyway, here's every Owl House clip with Braxas in order of air date (including season 2 episode 5, which is the most we've heard him talk in a single episode), he is my child, that is all

So I run an LGBT+ club for my older students (ages 12-16) and we’re doing a unit on queer media, I really want to bring in a list of books to recommend them and I’ve got a few but they’re all WLW, I’ve had a very hard time finding MLM books that were school appropriate, same with books about trans characters

Can anyone recommend some MLM and/or trans YA books that do not contain drugs, alcohol, sex, or graphic violence? (I know this isn’t specifically shipping related but I feel like this section of tumblr would have the goods)

Anyone noticed how Odalia is mostly on Amity's case & not the twins? Why is that?

My headcanon (based on a lot of theorizing I’ve seen going around and Dana Terrace saying that Odalia likes her children to “match”) is that Odalia is the Blight parent by blood and green hair is a Blight trait. The twins were born with green hair and looked like “proper” Blight children but Amity was born with brown hair like her father, making her the proverbial redheaded stepchild. Odalia sees Amity’s appearance as a weak link in the family’s public image and therefore puts undue pressure on Amity to be The Perfect Child ™. More likely than not, Odalia has been tormenting Amity her whole life because of an accident of her birth and I think that makes her truly despicable.
