"Hey, Eugene? Can i ask you something?" Rapunzel asked, playing with her hair for a second. "It's kind of important."
"Sure, babe," he nodded "What’s that important?" he wondered.

"Someone sent me an anonymous lantern this morning! Just in case it was you, I'm gonna need your name please!"
Wait, what? I'm confused. Lol

When he put his robe on, Rapunzel spelt her blush grow and then go away slowly. Too slowly. It wasn't fair. Anyway, she had a bigger problem to worry about. "Can I sleep here?" She asked, finally looking up at him. "Maximus just told me something that is really scary and he can't tell the captain of the guard, since he is away with Eugene and my father on the hunting trip." She fiddled with her hair. "I can't sleep in my room, it has too big a window."
For a second Hans blanked out when it sounded like the princess wanted to sleep with him, before it all clicked. ”Oh, well, I mean…” Hans had never taken the chance to question the validity of the guard horse but somehow he felt no interest in taking chances when it came to a threat on Rapunzel’s life. “Yes. Just let me… set everything up for you.”
Quickly he rushed about locking the door and windows, being more than prepared himself for an attempt on his life. Southern Isles’ politics and such. Once the room was secure Hans turned back to Rapunzel before mulling over the sleeping arrangements. He only hoped no one would suspect him of trying to… well, “fondue” with the princess. “You can sleep in my bed tonight, I will take the chair.”
She pushed him back, looking behind her to make sure nobody was following her, and then shut the door, yelping when she realized he wasn't wearing a shirt, and blushing furiously at it. "I'm so sorry to wake you, but I have an emergency! And Eugene is out of town and I have nobody else to go to!" She kept her eyes at the floor so she wouldn't embarrass herself by staring at him. He was a prince after all, and princes were handsome. It was a rule, somewhere they all had to be. "I need your help."
Hans came to the conclusion that personal space was a subject Rapunzel had much to learn about, even if he did not mind a beautiful woman coming up all on him. Once she had closed the door Hans quirked his eyebrow in curiosity at her vague explanation. He rubbed his eyes for a second before realizing he was shirtless. Quickly he grabbed his robe and turned back to her after tying it up, suppressing the rising tint of red on his face as he tried to maintain control of the situation.
"I would be glad to help Rapunzel," Hans began soothingly, "but could you take a deep breath, relax, and tell me what is going on?"
She knocked on his door. "Eugene? Are you in there? I have to ask you something, its extremely important!" She tapped on the door again, debating whether or not to pick the lock like he'd showed her. She crosses her arms.
Rider was asleep when he heard someone knocking. He started to search for Rapunzel, passing his hand over the mattress, but didn’t find his fiancee. The new life in the castle was really a hard thing, so he really was exhausted mostly all the time. He rose to his feet and came up to the door. He saw Rapunzel and smiled still sleepy. He was standing in his pijama pants, having nothing else on. "Hey, blonde, whataya doing’ here? Ye have to be in bed with me," he mumbled letting her inside the bedroom.
"Hans!?" Rapunzel whisper shouted, banging on his door. She banged quieter, remembering how late it was. She hoped she didn't wake him too much, but it was late. The guest hallway was mostly empty except for his room, though. "Hans, please wake up!"
His eyes popped open at the random beating his door was taking at… he rolled over to face his clock… 12:33?! He sat himself up and glared at the door for a second though his baggy, red eyes. At least his hair was immaculate as always.
"Whoever it is better have something meaningful to say…"
Getting up out of bed he went to the door and opened it, not even caring that he was only wearing a pair of trousers when he had gone to bed. His first words were going to be rather blunt but he was shocked to see Rapunzel of all people at his door. “Uhm… how can I help you your highness?”
"Berk!" She exclaimed, grinning and introducing him to her parents, who were already in place. "That's a really cool name for a place to live. Is it nice there? Did you have to travel far?" She hoped he didn't. He was alone, so it must be lonely if he needed to travel far.
Hiccup looked to the king and queen, bowing low to which he saw the ghosts of a smile upturn her lips. They weren't much for talking he realized quickly enough but the princess made up for that.
"It depends on who you ask," He smiled, setting up the easel. He aligned it to the best of his ability while still keeping the line of sight to his subjects free. "It hails and snows most of the year so being invited here was a nice change of pace." Was he talking too much? He felt like he was.
Hiccup went about mixing paints, glancing up at the princess as the barrage of questions kept coming. He didn't mind in the least. Honestly, he was grateful there hadn't been lapse in conversation since he'd arrived. "By boat it takes about a day or two."
