blurb: you had been practicing this routine for weeks, you were finally ready for this dance competition. you walked out on the floor, met with applause and a few shouts—and one very loud, proud boyfriend.

"YEAH GO TAYLOR YEAH! WOOOOOO!" you heard luke yell. he was standing up with a sign with "go tay!" on it and a shirt that said "proud boyfriend of a dancer". you couldn’t help but smile bigger. your routine was flawless, every pirouette, barrel roll and fan kick was perfect. luke stood again, hooping and hollering (a/n: sorry i’m from kentucky) when you finished your final position.

luke met you after your performance, complimenting you on how amazing your dance had been. he had never seen anything like it. you were so glad to have such a supportive and proud boyfriend.
