Schaller Gallery Exhibition : WINTER WHITE New Work by Blair Clemo, Ryan Greenheck, Martha Grover, Matthew Krousey, Sebastian Moh and S.C. Rolf Those of us that experience the magic of fresh powdered snow on the early days of winter know just as well that what comes soon after changes from bright white to dirty brown along busy roadsides. There are also those heavy, wet snows, which make for dreaded soggy socks... but towards the end of winter, after the last fluffy flakes have fallen, the moisture seeps back into the earth and up pop green sprouts of grass and flowers through patches of white, and not-so-white. These pieces are meant to capture that sensation and serve to hold your favorite foods the whole year through.
