hc: hope

Hope... I wouldn’t say he is a “hopeless” person.. but he tends to not have “unbased hope”. He won’t stand in an entirely dark room and hope light will just appear, he won’t hope to escape a place that seems to have no doors or exits. He needs a bit of a sign that what he might hope for could actually come true. Magnus still wouldn’t give up, at least not in the beginning. “If there is no hope for help, help yourself”.. if that doesn’t lead to anything either... then he’ll turn hopeless and give up

hc: nightmares

send me  ‘ hc ‘  + a word and i’ll write a headcanon about it regarding my character.

He is lucky, he rarely dreams.. in the beginning. But when he has nightmares they are all about his mother. She still guilts him, for being alive, weeping for being alone in her death. Telling him he disappointed her.. those dreams become worse the more he strays from her “perfect son” image. The more he does things she would have not approved of.Like falling for the wrong person, making stupid mistakes, etc. Those dreams are one of the reason he might suddenly become distant from people he before started to open up to, again.

Also after he is caught and tortured down the line of his Plot... nightmares galore... but that’s for then.
