2022 Nottingham Open
Did only British people play this tournament
looking at the Nottingham open line up and thinking...I need tickets, missed out last year. Just to realise I've left it too late again this year to sort my days off and for tickets I guess 🙄
ANDY WON!!!!!
Nottingham Ch MS QF: Jordan Thompson [3] def. Mikhail Kukushkin 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 mid-match stats

Ooh, the stats I got were from the moment where Thompson led 5-2 vs. Kukushkin. Let's see what I could interpret from here and reflected from the last 2 games.
Thompson's serves worked wonders (Ch oomfs are right about this). Serves really big until it scored 16 aces, and mostly dominant on the 1st serve (86% won compared to the 2nd, which was 41%). While recognizing Kukushkin's 100% BP conversion came from 1/1 (in particular, the second set), Thompson's BP conversion gave me an impression that "there were those unmaximized chances," maybe at the cost of his errors or Kukushkin's winners, somewhere along those lines from what I could recall.
Not a bad match as well, because I could document several potentially entertaining rallies coming from this match! Some beautiful winners, some amazing shots that ended up in others' errors. Ooo.

You guys must have been at the edge of your seats when Thompson made a forehand error (before this) and thus Kukushkin managed to save an MP. Eventually, Thompson managed to 'avert' the worst case and converted that match point (at the expense of Kukushkin's error, thanks to that return), and won 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
I'll jot down my thoughts of the stats later on, I captured a mid-match stat when Thompson leads 5-2, we could break it down from there!
