From here, Gabriele created 10 break points compared to the home favorite's 8, converting 40% of them throughout this encounter.

Besides, Gabriele also appeared more solid on his serves in this match. The latter might have gotten overwhelmed earlier in this match, but despite his best efforts, the former appeared slightly more solid in the important moments of the other set.

After surviving a forehand error for the deuce, Gabriele held to 1-0 before Petr fired a backhand pass to 1-0* 30-15, but the former capitalized on the latter's forehand errors for his break opportunities before firing a forehand winner to break 2-0. Somehow, the Bulgarian fired a fourth-shot forehand winner at the second point of the third game, followed by Gabriele's double-fault and forehand errors could not help, except for the former's break-back to 2-1. Not long after, this break exchange continued as the Italian answered from the grounds, scoring a forehand pass to break back 3-1 as Petr's unforced errors (mostly on his forehands) only contributed to it.

Besides, Tom also served more consistently in this match despite Jerome's best efforts. Still, what a run for both pairs alike, which were fun to watch in themselves.

An interesting doubles semifinal match sealed that night in the Grodzisk Mazowiecki/Kozerki Challenger, where Bunschoten Challenger runner-up and third seed Victor Vlad Cornea/Daniel Cukierman, who knocked out Geoffrey Blancaneaux/Viktor Durasovic 6-1, 7-6(6) in the quarterfinals, faced University of Tennessee-affiliated pair and Marrakech (250) semifinalists Younes Lalami Laaroussi/Filip Pieczonka, who stunned second seeds and home favorites Szymon Kielan/Piotr Matuszewski 3-6, 6-3, [10-5] in the previous round. This turned out to be a fun clash, but it came down to a few points on return for either pair to stand out.
