her flier for a roommate had FINALLY been answered in the form of jihoo sin. it had been a blur how quickly she let him into her space after a brief talk on the phone, not hesitating in the slightest saying yes. eunji only asked for his name and if he could afford to pay rent, and that had been it knowing it was careless to just let anyone live with her, but as long as he minded his business and she minded her own, she had no problem with who roomed with her. it had been late the previous night when he arrived, they only exchange a small greeting before eunji was DASHING out the door to her shift, unable to really show him around the apartment and only telling him to make himself comfortable. but now, with it being her day off from both school and work, she decided to wait for him at the kitchen table where she told she’d be as he passed his room, letting him know she’s going to make coffee and wanted a quick chat about the basic ground rules. which, there weren’t many to begin with, or AT ALL.
“morning,” she greeted, the moment she heard footsteps, not turning around to look at him as she grabbed two mugs from the cabinet above her, pouring in the freshly brewed coffee into both, “you settled in alright?”
