I don’t know if anyone has already dropped a thought like this here, but consider: the new la squadra recruit having a stand that can turn people into animals/insects for a limited amount of time, so they “accidentaly” turn every other member into a house cat (Nya Squadra, if you will). Just little soft cats, who later flock to them for some affection while watching tv or enjoy playing with some yarn 😭😭 Formaggio and Melone climbing on them and following them around, Prosciutto and Illuso start purring as the recruit brushes them, Ghiaccio being a “talkative” cat but also hissing and striking the air whenever Melone tries to bother him, Risotto is not outwardly affectionate but always stays close, Pesci is one of those cats who likes water so he plays with the faucet, Sorbet and Gelato are just as inseparable as cats, cleaning eachother and sleeping all curled up together ;-; Also, I like to think that even when they turn back to normal, they’ll still do some cat like things ie napping in sunny spots on the floor

i LOVE the idea of a little bit of their catselves just leaking into their everyday lives that they haven’t noticed - like prosciutto just suddenly REALLY wants to have his hair brushed and he doesn’t know why? formaggio picks up one of those toys with a feather on a stick to play with HIS cats and just goes utterly feral. i think having a stand that could make everyone around me a cat would be great actually
