Look what came in today! I LOVE IT!!!

The extra trinkets are so cute, and the book itself is beautiful: lovely little reflective print details on the cover, and bright silver edging. Also, this sucker is thick -- it’s the size of a textbook!

Flipping through it, the quality of everything is through the roof, and everybody who contributed should be proud of themselves! Great job, @notwithoutyoufanbook !!

So uh. This came in the mail today, and holy shit. I literally gasped like someone had jumped out from behind a door when I opened the package.This is the slickest thing I have ever seen. 

First of all, it’s huge. Like, however big you’re imagining it based on the pictures, it’s bigger than that. Second of all, I’ve barely had time to flip through it and I can already tell that everyone brought their A game for this project. This is truly incredible and I’m so, so impressed. Thank you so much @notwithoutyoufanbook for making this happen. Everyone who contributed to this book should be incredibly proud of their work. I can’t wait to read it!

Look what I got in the mail today... and it’s just as gorgeous as I hoped, plus all the goodies are so absolutey wonderful! I can’t believe how much talent this fandom has. Amazing work, everyone involved with @notwithoutyoufanbook - and I’m glad I waited to read it until I had the physical copy in my hands!

I GOT IT! I GOT IT!! NO THANKS TO CANADA POST, I GOT IT!

So, we have these terrible community mailboxes, and when you get a package, the post carrier puts the package in the package box, and leaves a key in your box.  I have been checking every day, and yet, no key.  Today, I checked the tracking info, and it said it had been delivered.  The local post office wasn’t super helpful.  The customer service line, which is terribly misnamed, was utterly useless (”you must contact the sender, who must contact the USPS, who will Canada Post” ????)  I was leaving a note for the mail carrier in my box, asking if they had maybe forgotten to leave the key?, when the guy up the street walked past with his dog, and was like, I got one of those the other day (he thought it was a delivery slip), but it wasn’t my package, and I was !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So we went to his place, and there it was, on his kitchen table.  The mail carrier had put the key in the wrong box.  I could have hugged Dog Man.  He was going to take it back to the post office, but waited a day, to see if he could find the right person.  

It has been A Day, but at least I finally got my book.
