Today, in Italy, is the release date for Episode VIII. It features Carrie Fisher’s last appearance on film. I’ve never dedicated a drawing to Leia before, but this time I felt it was important that I would. All my life she has been by my side, in one way or another. I grew up with Star Wars. It’s a simple drawing, jotted down in an evening, yet coming from the heart. Thank you, Princess. Thank you for reminding me that fear needs to be walked through to be destroyed.

I know there’s head canons and ficlets to be written in my ask, i know i promised to write a fanfic, but honestly, I just woke up and it’s already a really bad day.
