The first of my two little tributes to Doctor Who ❤️ one of my greatest loves in the world of TV series, I finally managed to dedicate some small pieces of art to my fav Doctors & companions. Let's start with the greatest duo ever, DoctorDonna! 😎

Three years ago I joined the @dropsofmoonlightzine project, an Eng/Jap zine for #sailormoon30thanniversary 🌙✨

Today I can finally post my full piece, a tribute to one of my favorite couple 😌 Haruka & Michiru are simply beautiful and I wanted to celebrate their powerful, sweet and touching love with this art. I still like it despite the years! (any art older than a few months may look awful to an artist trying to keep improving 😅🤣)

As a child I used to love running in nature.

I have a clear memory of when I was 8-9 years old, and I tried to run as fast as possible in the garden (which was almost a forest) behind my family's house. I couldn't feel my body anymore, I felt so light, free, without pain (which unfortunately is one of the things that at 40 years old you can feel, indeed 😂).

I felt the wind on my face, and it was wonderful - I still feel like I can feel it. From that memory this art was born. Returning to nature deeply reconnects us to ourselves, to the Earth, to real things. It's a small memory and a small thought, but I wanted it to be the focus for me, this year, to celebrate Earth Day.

Without bringing up big speeches about climate change and the related fears that we all have in this dark age. Not because they aren't important topics, quite the opposite, but just to represent something more intimate and personal, which always warms my heart.

May the Earth take care of us when we need it most ♥️🌎 and may the same be reciprocated by as many people as possible, always.

Ashoka season 2 has been announced, yay!

The Star Wars saga has been a piece of my nerd heart since my childhood, and despite the missteps made by Disney in recent years, in my opinion The Mandalorian, Andor and Ashoka have a beating core of SW original vibes ❤️

I find Ashoka wonderful both as a character (since Clone Wars) and aesthetically. Her spiritual reunion with Anakin in the first season moved me, and I can't wait to see them together again 🥺✨

Both the print and the sticker will be available soon in my Etsy shop, and for those who will be at the Megacon in Genoa (Italy) on March 1st and 2nd, you will also find them there 😊
