Settling In
Orion’s nerves were not doing so well as of late. She had started a new school, and the bullying had come to almost a complete stop. However, that came with the fact that she had to make up a new routine, and find some new friends. She was doing what she typically did in her spare time between class, which was practice. People probably thought she couldn’t dance because her legs locked and she got such terrible stage fright in front of her peers.
After what she considered a rather sloppy attempt at a pirouette, she hit the wall, figuratively and literally. What was she even doing here? It was probably just because her dad gives money to the school. Usually, if there was one thing in the world she was confident in, it was her dancing. Now her confidence was shaken, and she missed her parents terribly. It wasn’t like Alex paid much attention, and Paxton was busy planning his wedding to Deanna Clay to take much notice.
She was alone, she was still angry, and she couldn’t stop the tears of frustration that began to spring up.

the alien was sitting at the bar in the iceberg lounge when he noticed a little girl was sitting next to him, sipping on a martini.
"Aren't you a little young to be in a bar?"
The Star
Nikhita didn't get many days off and it was her own choice. She enjoyed keeping herself busy, physically mentally or so on. She had worked out at the gym, done her hours for the week and Dr. Bennett insisted that maybe now wasn't the best time to come into work. There were plenty of protestors outside with what happened to Zhora and the intern couldn't help but smile everytime she saw one of the folks look a lot like Zhora herself.
Still, she didn;t do much sitting around. It was her Senior Year and she had a capstone project she was working on. It was a large paper dealing with crime in its various incarnations throughout Gotham. She had done as much research as she could on the multiple waves. The mobsters with testimonies of the Falcone Crime Rackett, the terrible experiments by the mad Arkham staff, or even the monsters lurking in the shadows of Gotham. She even went on to focus on outsiders influences on crime, thriving on it and even a dabble of the occult (though trying to write her paper on magic was trickier to swallow).
She had various sources but she was perhaps the most excited about this one. This was a first hand source from one of the criminals of the past. She had reformed and was still a big name in Gotham today, running her own school of the arts. She didn't need to be an A list terrifying villain like the joker to make NIkhita as happy as she could.
After a few calls, pleas and even a handwritten letter from her professor to assure the headmistress Nikhita was capable, she got the okay. Nikhita did her best to look presentable. She ironed her mint green dress suit, brought two recording devices in order to make sure nothing was cut, her own notes. She waited in the headmistress waiting room, bubbling with excitement.
Can I just say how refreshing it is to see someone who takes his craft so seriously? I'm not so much a villain any more, but I have to say what you do is art.
"Why thank you, miss, it's kind of beco-- wait. Wait a second- Mary Dahl?"
"Well sell my soul to Nirvana's first album, it is! From one performer to another, I'm a huge fan! It's a genuine pleasure!
Yes, see, the music industry's an expensive gig, and I like to please an audience, so I figured, why not entertain and profit at the same time? It's a lifestyle."
"I could forever sing the praises of notyourdahl for her Mary Dahl, but for her other characters, too. She has such a diverse repertoire of characters and does justice to each and every one of them. Not only is she a gifted writer, but she is one of the warmest, most loving hearts I've ever encountered OOC. I've RPed for years and trust me when I say that she's a gem."
