Finished reading this book over the weekend, and it is still on my mind. This was so good!
Mystery/Thriller Monday
Hazel, the main character, is the owner of a bookstore, and, the book is just populated with nerds. How could I not try reading this one. (Also, interesting title, but, as a librarian I’m not supposed to judge a book by its title… wait… or cover…?)
Her adoptive grandfather, the Isaac Severy from the title, was a mathematician. And, apparently, before he died (possibly of sucide) he had figured out a final equation. Hazel is tasked, through clues in --her-- favorite novel, to find that equation, keep it out of the ‘bad guys’’ hands, and get it to someone Isaac trusted.
It was a fun read. It was twisty, and I was kept guessing through most of the book. Oh, and, thankfully, one does not have to be a math genius to enjoy the book either. Phew…
