Trailer Park Boys is not just Julian and the crew committing petty crimes and being serial criminals.
They unite as a family. Julian thinks of the ideas and protects the family, Bubbles is the conscious, and Ricky is a lot more caring than what people think.
Julian is not afraid to stand up to anyone who "fucks" with anyone in the trailer park or anyone fucking around with someone else in the park. He protects his family even if it means death sometimes. His ideas may fall apart in the end sometimes but they usually start off pretty well.
Ricky is a father, the "family" man. He always talks about how much he loves Lucy and his only daughter Trinity. Everyone also sees him as the dumbest but actually in all honesty he is very smart. He is also protective to his family. He can talk his way out of almost everything especially with the law. He has the least of all but he has his family. His father, his daughter, Julian and Bubbles, Lucy, and even Trevor and Cory. :) He knows his strengths and uses them to the best of his ability even if it's illegal. He always means well.
Bubbles is the conscious. He stops the crew if they get too out of hand and makes Ricky and Julian to take a minute to think about what they are doing. Julian and Ricky are the only family he has had since he was six years old. His parents abondoned him in a shed and never to be seen again. He loves the stray cats that wonder around the park. Even if he cannot feed himself he worries about keeping his kitties fed and happy.
Less is more. And I will always remember that. The less you have the happier you are. The less you have to keep up with. Not saying give up everything you have right now and start all over, no. I'm not even talking materialistic stuff. Just appreciate what you have at the moment, find who makes you feel like you're apart of a family even if they're not related to you by blood. Materialistic things come and go but family always stands.
