I'm not sure an artist has much sway when it comes to casting, but I'm sure it doesn't hurt either (and the art is fabulous)!

Well, its real as far as IMDb is concerned (aka it is actually listed on IMDb) but since anyone can technically edit those listings it is very possibly fake. This person (who works for The Cosmic Circus) explained in this thread why they didn't post the info yet even though they knew it was out there:

So it really is up in the air. It seems like a weirdly big leak if all of those are true, but weirder things have happened this year with TV/movies so who tf knows lol.

I’m kinda done with superhero stuff. So I’m more hoping he gets to work with Glenn Close who was also listed.
I think a lot of people are in the same boat! I can handle the superhero genre in spurts. I'll go a couple years without watching anything, then catch up in a week-long binge. But if there's one person who could get me to watch a superhero series weekly, it would be Jared.
And that would be pretty awesome if Jared got to work with Glenn Close!

Exactly. I'll still be keeping an eye on it just in case and we've all seen the old Nova fancasting pics so it would be cool but I'll remain suspicious until we get more information. (And I won't start angrily and incessantly tweeting at Marvel about it either lol). I just wanted to share that other thread so that people have all the info available and can form their own opinions on it!
From what I can see on IMDB, it's actually a television project and not a movie... (unless I'm looking at the wrong entry), so I think it's more possible than if it were a movie, but like you, I will remain suspicious unless or until anything official is announced (which certainly won't happen until after the strike.)
(Thank goodness Jared fan's aren't so unhinged to mass-tweet companies like that.)

I don't have access either. It would be interesting to see if someone else could verify as a second source (while again, remaining skeptical about the casting and about the project, since many still die while in progress).
