The fact that Misha backed him up is almost unheard of. He plays up the “grand love story Destiel” so much that his responses here are pretty extraordinary. Wonder if he got told off about his hard lean in to Destiel or if the panel, and atmosphere in the room, was so bad even he felt he needed to be honest.
Destiel, a realized romantic relationship, between Dean and Cass never existed. Cass did confess to romantic love for Dean, Dean did not and would never reciprocate romantic love. End of.

It looks to me like Misha only backed up Jensen because his hand was forced by the fan referencing past things he’d said about Dean/Jensen. He was just trying to cover his own ass in front of Jensen.
There’s a reason Misha does his most bold and blatant pandering when J2 aren’t present and there’s no video recording allowed.
Exactly! You could pull up any transcript/video of Misha-only panels from cons without J2 and compare those with this answer and there would be nothing but contradictions. Misha is a lying liar who lies whenever it suits him. Give him a month and he'll be back to his pandering ways. Though, I'm curious how he'll spin this response if anyone asks about it.
