When one of us loses inspiration, we play "blue weed" for drawing assignments for me and "absurd pairing" for Kozner's stories.

When I asked him for some Earthspark artwork, we started talking about the pairings. And away we go! We have ThunderBee, StarBee, SkyBee... as for NovaBee?

I don't know why, but it seems so stupid and funny to us.

I still struggled with the hands, honestly. The dozen or so attempts at intertwined fingers caused a little of my brain to melt out, only to realize that I was going to cover it with chains anyway!

Still, this is the closest that I've gotten to realistic proportions in a while!
