some rei / tala for you dorks.
Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: Both, Rei due to early morning work outs. And Tala if he’s unable to sleep well that night.
Who’s the one to make breakfast: Rei, if he’s up early enough and if not it’d be Tala but not before an attempt of being woken up by Tala was made.
Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: Rei, when he feels like spoiling Tala. Though on the rare occasion it would be reversed.
Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: Both, Rei, if he’s feeling in the mood. And Tala if he’s feeling neglected but won’t admit it out right ( though it would be a rare occurrence regardless if he did )
Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: Rei, only when he’s feeling lazy and wants to spend more time cuddled up with Tala in bed.
Who chooses the movies: Neither, either would prefer curling up with a good book. Though if a movie had to be choosen it might be Rei who picks from a suggestion of someone’s.
Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Rei mostly, as Tala is most often then not FAR more interesting then the movie they seem to be watching. Though if bored of said movie Tala might depending on his mood.
Who orders lunch: Rei most often, unless they wanted something not Chinese then Tala.
Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: Neither, both are pretty good at eating off their own plates. Though Tala might if curious about a dish Rei is eating.
Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: Rei, he eats more then Tala and tends to curl up next to him like a cat and take the pity head strokes he gets. It makes his stomach eating almost worth it.
Who distracts the other from trying to work at home: Rei, but he has patience enough to wait until the work is finished most often.
Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: Neither, both are mature enough to suggest it and aren’t really upset if the other says no.
Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: Rei, secretly. He’s always willing to have secret pictures of this Russian beauty.
Who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face: Both, Rei would whisper it in his ear with a grin and Tala would mention it to see Rei’s cheeks get red as he finds it cute.
Who cooks dinner: Rei, he likes cooking and doesn’t mind making dinner as long as Tala likes the food he cooks.
Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards: Both, they are both cleaning up, taking turns washing and drying between them.
Who stays up until 2 reading: Both. Rei if he’s interested in a good book and Tala if he can’t seem to get to sleep because of a bad dream, reading sometimes helps. Though having a cuddly tiger next to you has it’s perks.
Who stares at their partner while their sleeping: Both. Rei finds it hard to believe that he’s managed to get someone like Tala to be with him and often stares in awe at how beautiful he looks and how peaceful the other is beside him, it makes him almost want to give him a small smooch. Tala would give him odd looks as to try and figure out why Rei stays with him regardless of what he’s said or done ( through the good and bad days ). He secretly is happy that he does stay by his side despite his words – but it still takes some getting used to for him to wake up to such a peaceful tiger laying beside him and holding him as though he’d slip away if he didn’t.
Who kisses their partner while they sleep: Rei, he would give good night kisses or even soft loving cheek smooches before bed to make sure the other knew that he was loved even if he didn’t repeat it over and over again each day ( and he probably does repeat ‘ i love you ‘ on bad days to make sure Tala remembers that he cares ). And if Rei notices that Tala isn’t sleeping well / having a nightmare he would shuffle closer, wrap his arms around him and hold him close giving him lovingly soft kisses and whisper affectionate / comforting words in his ear till he calmed down / relaxed in his arms and was able to sleep better, words like ‘ i love you & i’ll be here no matter what ‘ just to help the other remember how much he cares.

She thinks to reason with this ravager, but realizes it would be for naught. She’s certain that he gets a thrill at her attempts, knowing well that his strength surpasses hers. But she tries, endlessly and effortlessly, with him, she had always sought to be superior. Whether it’s through her stances or the way she battles against his blade. . . She seeks that validation through victory and he’s the only one so far that has conquered her control. It’s because of him that she thinks back on her battles. . . The hunt was haunting, her fatality left forms frozen. . . Eyes, wide and wild, attempt to search for sympathy. And yet nothing is reflected within his own horrid hues. He is as empty as the empathy she seeks. ❝ I don’t beg. . . This is a new low, even for you. . . You think you’re better than me?! You better not tell a single fucking soul. ❞
