I went and had a good-bye busy with my doctor today who I’ve been going to see for the last 34 years - since my first year at Dalhousie when she worked at Dalhousie Health and it was her first year practicing and now she’s retiring - I have been so lucky to have the same doctor for all that time with my complicated medical history and I am really going to miss her but everyone deserves to retire and enjoy themselves- even doctors in a province that has a crisis within the medical community- I am also very lucky that she found a replacement for herself - a new doctor fresh out of medical school so I don’t have to be one of those tens of thousands of people without a doctor - thank you Dr Plaxton for your dedication to your profession and all the lives you saved and all the people - like me you’ve kept alive - I hope you get to have a few decades of enjoyment with your family #doctor #doctorshortage #halifax #novascotia #novascotiadoctors #dogkisserinternationalheadquarters (at Halifax, Nova Scotia)
