I'm so happy to finally be able to introduce you to my OC, Novastream :D

small trigger warning: if you do not like sparklings (transformer babies) or the idea of mechpreg and bots raising robo-kids, this post likely isn't for you <3

Nova is a two wheeler and would be the size equivalent of a gunbus motorcycle on earth. Don't let his lithe looking frame and soft smile fool you though, this bad boy is packing some serious weaponry!

But--despite owning a set of saws that could bisect a bot in less then ten seconds, Novastream is vehemently against physical violence, he'll likely burst into tears if he so much as hurts your feelings.

He likes to try to see the best in everyone and thinks that (almost) everyone deserves a second chance.

Nova studied under Preceptor and Brainstorm, he has a Masters Degree in chemical engineering and is rather academically skilled. Despite this though, Novastream basically gave up on a high paying career to pursue his true passion, painting.

It doesn't pay much, but it makes him feel more fulfilled than he ever been in his life. Novastream would rather be destitute and doing what he truly loves, than to have wealth and abundance in something that sucks the life out of him.

Thankfully, one doesn't have to worry much about money when you're Conjunxed to the current ruler of Cybertron ;]

FUN FACTS:

Novastream is completely tone-deaf and has beat deafness (Which is ironic given his Voice Claim) but despite having no rhythm or tone, Nova still loves to sing and dance. If you value your front teeth, you might want to take a step back

He has the robot equivalent of asthma. Any extended physical exertion can cause his vents to seal and his frame to very rapidly overheat, it can potentially be deadly without medical assistance

Has an affinity for mechs with wings/door wings and is a complete hopeless romantic

HATES sweet, cant stand the taste of energon goodies. Prefers neutral flavors or extremely spicy. Nova's favorite snack is Atomic Smelter Pit Balls™

Hears whispers from the deceased Primes that sometimes keep him up at night

Novastream's favorite animal are bolt-bats, he has a stuffed one and has wanted a real one ever since he was a bitlet

*small disclaimer, I haven't read the full extent of MTMTE. People might be OOC, I might leave out information that seems very obvious, exclude plot points, etc. so take everything with a grain of salt :] his entire plot also takes place in the alternate universe ending so I've taken MANY liberties. I hope you can enjoy none the less!! <3

As stated in his intro card, Novastream is the accidental creation of Megatron and Rodimus Prime. (Franky you can choose who of the two is the Carrier or Sire because both fit and I like them in both rolls, but for this Rodimus will be Nova's Carrier)

Megatron and Rodimus were in a fuck-buddys turned situationship when Rodimus first discovered he was sparked. He decided to hide the fact he was sparked from Megatron until he decided what to do with their accident. Eventually, Rodimus would decide to keep Novastream and inform Megatron who was originally less than pleased.

Megatron did choose to stay with Rodimus and they started to actually court one another, which was easier than the both of them had thought (who would have guessed the two of them were secretly falling in love with one another while in their situationship, crazyyy) and Roddy and Megs would eventually complete Conjunx Ritus.

Novastream emerged rather small and with a few gestation defects, such as a lack of nasal vent, deformed peds and robo-scoliosis. But despite these setbacks, Novastream was a bright and cheerful sparkling. He was curious and loved to be involved in whatever his Creators are up to, taking quite the liking to his Sire, Megatron.

From day one, Nova seemed to be constantly hanging off the Megatron and never liked to be too far away.

As Nova grew, he began to share his Sire's love for the arts, but instead of words, Nova wielded a paintbrush. Megatron encouraged Nova to follow his passions wholeheartedly, and Rodimus has very fond memories of Megatron being their sparkling's favorite canvas.

But all good things come to an end.

There was only so long they could shield Nova from the past, and more importantly, who his Sire was.

A preteen Nova got smacked with the chilling reality of who the mech he looked up to more than anything really was. Crushed and betrayed weren't strong enough to describe how Novastream felt. He could barely look Megatron in the eyes without bursting into tears, they can couldn't even really talk without it turning into an enormous fight.

This hatred isn't contained to just Megatron though. Rodimus got caught in the crossfires, Nova resents Rodimus for ever getting with Megatron and bringing him into the world. He spends the rest of his time on the LL mostly living with his Primus Creators, Ratchet and Drift, and completely ignoring both Megatron and Rodimus.

At the age of two hundred thousand, Novastream would leave the Lost Light and head for Cybertron, wanting to live his own life.

Once on Cybertron, Nova was able to use the Shanix Drift lent him to rent an apartment. With his degree and prestige from studying under Preceptor he is able to get a job at a lab, and within short succession, his first boyfriend.

Though life on Cybertron wasn't all it was chalked up to be and Novastream quickly found himself utterly miserable in a job that didn't bring him any joy and in a relationship that was sucking the life out of him.

The relationship didn't last too long thankfully, Novastream walked in on his Boyfriend cheating on him with another mech. It was only a few months down the drain but it was still utterly crushing for someone who thought relationships would be like the love songs he adored so much.

In his crisis, he turned to the only thing that brought him comfort: Painting.

Nova spent all of his free time painting murals in alleyways and on abandoned buildings. He over time grew somewhat of a following and even became a small celebrity, which gave Novastream enough confidence to quit his job as a chemical engineer and pursue his passion.

Eventually as he grew in popularity, he was hired to paint a mural in Metroplex of the current leader of Cybertron, Starscream. Ironically enough as he was working Nova met the said leader himself, who was taken aback by the artwork, Star was extremely flattered. Starscream would continue to visit Novastream when he had time and the two of them started to grow a friendship.

On the last day of working in Metroplex, Starscream asked to continue to get to know Nova and asked him out onto a date...Nova says yes.
