Purple: 10 Facts About My Room
1. It's not technically *my* room right now. I'm staying with friends until the school year starts.
2. It's got a giant headboard with a meditating Buddha painted on it just sitting behind the door.
3. Currently, the only decorations up are actually mine.
4. Those decorations are a picture of my dog and my little pirate ship thing. I love my pirate ship.
5. The blinds are these super awesome burlap fabric blinds. They're basically some of the coolest things ever.
6. It's currently super disorganized because I've been trying to go through stuff to find specific things.
7. I HAVE, however, taken to actually hanging up my laundry in the closet.
8. There are no mirrors in it. This is the most fantastic thing ever because I absolutely hate sleeping around mirrors. It's an atrocity I've noticed becoming more common in apartments- mirrored closet doors. *shudder*
9. My dog's feather beds (yup, I can't ever have them because she claims them) currently occupy the corner though, lately, she's taken to sleeping on the bed with me (which is oddly shocking because she never has before).
10. There are a ton of books all over. Because, you know, reasons.
Red: 5 Facts About My Best Friend
1. I really don't always like the term "best friend" because I think it alienates people in your life that may consider you one of their best friends. So I'm just going to talk about my non-biological sister.
2. She lives in South Carolina. It's one of three miserable long distance relationships in my life (the other two being my male best friend a.k.a. my "long-lost twin brother" and my boyfriend). It suuucks.
3. She has the most adorable little girl ever. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a biased godmommy and Auntie Lay Lay. >.> Shut your face.
4. She doesn't think she's very brave, but, honestly, she's one of the bravest people I know.
5. She and I share completely separate faiths, but I believe it's part of the dynamic of why we work. We support each other. It's fantastic and I love her dearly.
