So pokemon art academy. Fun game. It starts with out as basically an interactive coloring book with you tracing your their outlines. But this game also exposed the fact I can't draw curvy lines, so that's the first thing I practiced and learned IRL.
Also since it is markers and pen tools, it's kinda sorta a digital artist learning tool instead of the pretend painting like art academy. At the very least I learned I should use outlines if I want to draw mimikyu again. And probably either trace it or sketch it out a bit better.
I’m going to share some of my progress with you, my friends. My eyes are super upset with me right now because they protest to all of this dickory (I have super twitchy eyeballs so putting on the eyelashes has been a battle between me and my natural reflexes. I have not been winning). I also got make-up remover in them, so they are extra pissed.
So for those of you who want to look close enough and say that my eyebrows are uneven, my (real) eyebrows aren’t glued down enough, and my eyelashes aren’t exactly where they should be, and the white should be brighter, and my eyeliner looks like it’s been applied by a Parkinson’s patient. Trust me, I fucking know.
But we all gotta start somewhere, and that somewhere is usually in a garbage can rummaging around and hoping to Christ we get lucky. This is my garbage can. Hello.
Ohhh for any followers that care, or know anything about figure skating, I passed my Novice free skate test yesterday! The test was at my home rink which was really nice. On July 27th, I'm taking my Junior free skate (so I can compete Junior for regionals) and my Senior moves!!! Again, at my home rink :)
