We had another GREAT weekend at @riverglenequestrianpark in Tennessee. We love attending the August horse trials and FEI there. Passionate Girl did her first recognized Novice. Had a lot of tension in dressage after 3 people ran into us in the warm-up (red ribbon means she might kick, not "look closer" ... lol). However, she did her best to listen to me, which is a huge improvement over the past. We are making new plans to work through the tension in the future. It was again dicey in the show jump warm-up, with a very challenging show jumping track (very few clean and clear in the whole day), but she was a trooper and is becoming more and more rideable at every venue. She was a demon on cross- country, and truly loves this part of her new job. I am so excited about her future. @runleefair had a lovely weekend that built her confidence with both horses in prep for the potential AEC's (unsure of Kentucky's view on that happening), and had some great moments with both horses, finishing 5th in a tough division on Pleasantly Saucii. That partnership is amazing. Also, on Leprechaun Lane's Drumgrey, she put some new plans to work and found out a lot of great information. That mare is ready to set the world on fire! Great job Lee, we are on the right track. So proud of the entire team, including Alex W. and Jordan (at her first event ever) for doing such a great job, and volunteering to jump judge 2 divisions on Sunday!
