Mum and Gem’s xc round from Oxford ODE this weekend!

Gem was an absolute MENACE in all phases, the show jumping was right next to her dressage arena and she was BIG mad she wasn’t allowed to jump so she bucked her way through the test and made it very clear she thought it was bullshit 🙈

They got eliminated in show jumping because mum was too relaxed coming into the arena and Gem took it as a sign to bulldoze over jump number 6 backwards before they’d even gone through the start flags (first horse everyone watching has EVER known to do that 💀), but otherwise it was a clear round if very speedy 🤡

Cross country of course she was a MACHINE and nothing was stopping her from doing her thing, Gem ate the jumps up like it was nothing and was only a second short in the stopbox which gave them 20 penalties but jumped clear otherwise!

Next event on the schedule is Okuku ODE on the 14th and hopefully she’ll be much better behaved than she was at Oxford 🙈🤣
