So yeah, meet Nova and Java. Nova because she's a Novogen chicken, Java because she's a black Sumatra and apparently everyone associates Sumatra with coffee.

So I might have possibly have gotten a couple more baby chickies today.

It wasn’t intentional!  

But I’m really interested in the Novogen chickens, and how can I not get a Black Sumatra?  It’s the closest I’ll be getting to the Svart Höna I admire so much.

Yeah.  and also I’m a sucker for chickens.
