Evening... had arrived. New Years' was literally on the edge of his tongue and- no, it was was at the edge of the island and Hinata just felt everyone get more and more engrossed in the festivities. Fortunes, corsages, and... right! Fireworks! Hinata hadn't seen them in so long, it would be a lie to say he wasn't excited.
Though, it would also be one to say he was. New Years' was conflicting as hell and, god, sometimes he'd rather not think about it and just enjoy the day as it took off into the depths of the night where, uh, something would happen. Hinata wasn't sure about that something, he really wasn't but a loose end couldn't keep him down..!
So he hoped.
And so, he was walking to the best place to see the fireworks. Well, there wasn't any location in particular, but he did want to see them for clarification that it was the new year. They were almost monument, and if humans could turn light and fire into statues, he was sure someone would. Maybe one day, if they're lucky... a firework really would be a nice keep-me-safe.
His focus, however? Diverted. A thousand things on his mind and nothing in his eyes, it was a matter of time until he'd--
Crash.
"Huh--!" Someone's shoulder hit into him, pushing him to balance himself out on his left leg for dear life, or... so it felt. He'd fall into something and be perfectly fine otherwise, but being on the ground wasn't really his preferred position.
