I just wanted to point some things out...

In the past few days as Trump unleashes his provocative threats against Iran, Trump stated in a tweet that he would target 52 cultural sites in retaliation. This is a WAR CRIME! One which ISIS members have stood trial for. Later that day, a statement was put out that the Pentagon would not follow Trump’s orders. Both Pompeo and Conway went on television and boldly lied, claiming that Trump never said he would attack cultural sites. 

Connected to the Soleimani airstrike, Republican representative of Arizona shared a fake photoshopped picture of Obama, with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on his personal twitter account. His caption was that “the world is a better place without these guys in charge.”  Here’s the hilarious part. From the caption we can tell that he thinks this is Quarim Soleimani, but it’s actually the President. Not only is the President still in power, but this fake photo has actually been circulating the internet for YEARS. Obama and Rouhani have never actually met in person. But there’s more. When a reporter called him out on sharing the fake photo, he had a complete meltdown and defended his post, saying that whether the photo was real or not was irrelevant! He claimed that the words in his caption are all that mattered, but as I just explained those are also incorrect!

Pompeo was on Fox News speaking about the crisis with Iran. He flat out blamed the Obama administration for the situation they are currently in (lmao). With a straight face he said that the Obama admin left them in a terrible place with Iran and that they are “repairing” it. I want to remind everyone that we had no military conflict with Iran in the Obama years, and he brought Iran to the table to sign the Nuclear agreement with America and Europe. Iran was actually not breaking the Nuclear Deal as Trump claimed when he immediately tore it up after being elected. Not only has Trump turned our allies closer to Iran, but Iran is leaving the agreement they still held with Europe and going full speed toward a nuclear weapon. Best “repair” job I’ve ever seen. 

Former Ambassador Nikki Haley made a radical lie in an interview that “The only ones mourning the loss of Soleimani are our Democrat leadership and our Democrat Presidential candidates.” Historian Kevin Kruse, who’s popular on twitter, asked Nikki Haley to prove her statement and “show her work,” as you would tell a student. Of course she did not. This is part of an ongoing campaign by Republicans to claim that Democrats are terrorist sympathizers, which is a disgustingly low tactic. She also wrong about the number of people. 

Lastly, you should watch this footage of Trump being interviewed before he entered office, and he had no idea who Soleimani was or any of the big players in terrorism. Then he goes on to say that it doesn’t matter because they will all change in a few months by the time he gets in office.
