like I realized my blog is a weird mix of political (which is something i didnt plan for), witchcraft, and steven universe? occasionally naruto?

i think thats like a metaphor for my life... i pretty much sit on my ass while watching steven universe yelling about the woes of capitalism from my bed to my dog and in an empty house while incense from my dads reiki master burns

2) Favorite stone/Crystal to work with and why?

My favorite is super simple and nothing crazy but it is a clear quartz that is a pendant on a necklace that used to belong to my Grandma. When I would spend my summers with my grandma in Costa Rica, I would always ask her to wear it because as a kid (I didn’t understand it) but I was always attracted to it. A couple of years ago when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she gave me the necklace. A year later she passed away. That woman was was made of steel. It’s been my favorite ever since and I recently decided to use it for witchcraft. I feel so much love and protection and guidance from that crystal, it’s honestly my favorite. It’s like family to me. Honestly... it is family

19) Do you believe in ‘fantasy’ creatures? (Fairies, imps, banshees, etc.) If so, which ones?

I definitely believe in the Fae, I’m just not sure if I’m attracted to working with them or getting to know them…. Other things I don’t have much knowledge of because I’ve grown up in a Caribbean and Central American environment so I don’t know a lot about european or other American ‘fantasy’ creatures. Like I know about La Llorona y el cadejos but not so much about a banshee (?) or imp (?) 

24) Have you ever put a hex/curse on someone?

oh man the other day I sobbed for like 20 minutes from seeing a baby duck run over …. I don’t think I have the capacity to hex someone. I’m a very non confrontational person and I avoid aggression a 100%. I really try not to have negative feelings towards anyone because it hurts me more to keep that hate like Im not mentally strong enough to carry that around. I would probably talk my self out of it before I even gather up the ingredients…  or chicken out…. or convince myself it wasn’t big of a deal…. you know I’m a weenie and I go to Weenie Hut Jrs. No biggie.

I’m thinking of making a separate blog for my witchy stuff? Like keeping this my personal blog but then dedicating a whole ‘nother blog and use it as my book of shadows/witchery guide...?

You know if you asked me in person, I would say I love to sleep. But there are nights like these where I stay awake for too long, find a quick release (shitty porn), read a book (life), find another slow more satisfying release (imagination), and then read another book (renew life).

In New Orleans, I would get up and look at the sky. I never ventured too far because it’s dangerous to go out so late alone (rape culture). But there were the nights were I told no one I hadn’t slept (mine). There were the nights were I went and laid in the early morning grass, and felt my clothes dampen from the morning dew (earth sweat). I would sit in my chair and watch the night sky and let myself be comforted by the expansiveness of the universe (desolation). I would watch the moon, whatever phase it was in, and recognize how small I was (insignificant).

I like being small (meaningless).

After being accustomed to my liberties in being able to explore during my private risky nights of no sleep, it’s hard being here. It’s hard laying in this bed and recognizing that this romanticism for a sleepless night alone with my thoughts can’t be fulfilled so easily as it was a month ago. Instead, I’m right back where I was before I realized there could be a beauty to my sleepless night. A quiet beauty that I usually keep to myself and have kept to myself.

(Time isn’t real but I age and things change but they change because time happens but time isn’t real and I change but I only change because time has passed)

omg I’ve literally been on the biggest witch research kick these past two days and I’ve learned to cook magically and made killer cleansing chicken and set up protections in my room and am learning so much about herbs like yay I feel so good!
