Nowseanislocke: Cyllage City

Just beat the gym leader here! He wasn't too difficult, actually, though my Dwebble, Terah, was surprised by Amaurus's Ice-type Take Down. Did more damage than I was comfortable with, so I switched and let Taborlin (Braixen) take care of it. Then, Grant sent out Tyrunt and I decided to end things quickly, so I had Tempi (Lucario) take it down with Bone Rush. Feels good to have two gym badges already. I wonder what it'll be like getting the other six...

After winning, Grant gave me Rock Tomb (which Terah's going to love knowing), and the Cliff Badge lets me use Strength so I can move boulders, so after healing up, I went over to Connecting Cave and, well...connected it! It'll be so much easier to get to my berry patch now.

I'm off to the north now, onto Route 10 and Geosenge Town! Until next time, see ya! -Sira

Ah yeah! Found an Old Amber in a fragile rock! Wonder if the fossil lab can do something with this...

Man, stupid Lunatone, showing up in Glittering Cave.

// I made it to Camphrier Town! On the way, three of my Pokemon evolved! I now have a Wartortle, Fletchinder, and a Braixen! Boy, was I surprised when my Fennekin started standing on its hind legs.

There was a close call with my Squirtle. She almost got taken down, and I could've switched out to make sure she stayed safe but...I guess I had a good feeling about it. Still, it was mostly luck that got us through. Here's hoping that luck carries on.

// I got my hair cut at a salon, it's so short now and so cute! I made it to Route 5 and caught a Minun. I don't really like Minun though, so I don't think I'll use it.

// I met some people at the end of Route 4, and they took me into Lumiose City (which is beautiful, by the way) to show me the professor's lab!

When I got there, I met the professor and he wanted to battle me! He had a Charmander, Bulbasaur, and a Squirtle! I took them all down pretty easily, and afterward, he let me pick one to take with me! I picked the Squirtle. My dad always says, "Water-types are good for much more than battling." I'm not exactly sure what he means, but I guess I might find out soon.

// I just came very close to losing Fennekin. He was fighting a Fletchling, should've been no problem, but...I forgot about Quick Attack. He only had 1HP afterward... I have to be more careful.

// I made it to Route 4, and I caught a Combee! Not only are they rare, it's got a little red dot on its lower face, which means it's a female, which is even more rare!
