This. I'm a dreamer. Always have been, always will be. I never want to stop going after my dreams, but I've came to realise always dreaming is both a blessing and a hindrance. It's good to aim high, chase your dreams, create the life you want and be ambitious. I'm all for it. I'd recommend it. I've also came to realise chasing dreams and thinking about what you want in the future can stop you living in the now. It can bring anxiety when things don't go as we think they should. When you can keep your eye on your dreams, but learn to love the now you become free. They'll always be things we desire, but when you achieve something it won't give you lasting fulfilment if you can't be happy in the present. There will also be something to want and stuff to strive for. That never ends, we get addicted to seeing progress, to making things better. Only when we see the beauty in the now, knowing we are enough, do you get to be free.
