Rey had been trying her hardest to learn the ways of what this mysterious,
yet not so mysterious-a-mentor of hers had given a deeper notice of...
The Force, as a whole, and not just of one side... Though, of course,
trying was not ever an option... As much as she was so severely reminded
of by the wizened olden man. There was only ‘Do’, and even if that was the
hardest parts about understanding this mystical power... She knew it was real,
and that it was the only way to reaffirm that she had indeed tapped into some
of it, all that time ago...
Though, she had momentarily gone away from the comfort of one of the islands,
and was making her way back to the main... The old Temple was already seen
in the distance, among the shrubs and dense foliage, but something was off...
She felt it, and it was cause enough for her to pause in her steps, and a sudden
streak of cold ran up along her spine. A feeling she hadn’t experienced since...
Turning to look back, eyes widening as she saw the dark ship descending from
the sky, and her nightmares were coming back! No, this was not some vision -
some illusion of past and future... She could feel that this was just as real as when
her fingers first laid their touches on the weapon that they were now clutching
defensively on her belt. Turning tail, Rey made to sprint away behind the cover
of a large tree - whose roundness was of about thirty feet. Heart pounding hard
in her chest, and she could feel that same anxiousness rising quicker than
lightning’s strike!
“No!... This can’t be!”
Her words muttering out in a rush breath, attempting to calm herself -- and she’d
be damned if this brief bit of training was all a waste of time, on her part!
But Luke?! He’s not here!... How did this one find me?!! I... I was sure to
hide myself from detection, wasn’t I? That’s the first thing he taught me...!?!
Going quiet as she heard the ship’s landing gear whirring, not too far off, and
clasped a hand over her mouth to try and stifle the sound of her breathing.
