no longer peeping. d'uccle girls sea salt and vanilla are so friendly, olive egger nutmeg is a little skittish. three peas in a pod

JD and i went to the cool reptile store in NH and browsed all the neat stuff like we do. then i saw a big fat humongous surrendered bearded dragon in one of the tanks and well. i fell in love

he weighs over a pound. he has a vet appointment coming up for a wellness exam soon and i'm sure they'll tell me he needs to lose a decent amount of weight

i find it interesting how pepper's face gets paler when she's sitting with me/being held. i like to think it means she's feeling calm or safe with me, because if she was stressed she would have every chance to leave if she wanted to

either way she's a good chook
