“Don’t be an ass Wesley. You know we love each other. We’re just both a little too self involved sometimes to see it.”

“So.. have you uhh.. talked to your mother recently?” 

“Recently is relative...it’s probably been a couple months.” 

“I thought so.” 

“Why? Do you need me to deliver a message?” 

“Oh no.. actually I’ve moved back into the house... I just wasn’t sure she had told you yet. As such I thought it would be good for you to find out before your cousin’s send off since we plan on attending together. I know how you get when you feel blindsided.”

“I don’t really give a fuck to be honest. I don’t have to live with either of you anymore. I am not gonna have to clean up that shit when it goes south. Do whatever the fuck you want. Just keep me and Darla out of it.”

“Your sister seemed pretty happy actually.” 

“Yeah it may seem that way but you know she doesn’t react to shit right away. It takes her a while to really settle into her feelings on anything. Just.. please, whatever happens it’s on you two. We’ve put up with being in the middle of this bullshit long enough.”
