The Hidden People of Lolander were a close-knit group. Uncle Andresin was a staple of Juniper’s life there. A beautiful creature, a lively personality, the kind of person who could light up an entire room simply with their presence. She loved Andresin with all her heart, and she knew her father felt the same of him. They were close, and Ash would often leave Juniper in Andresin’s care if he needed to leave the camp. Now that their home has been destroyed, Juniper doesn’t know for sure what happened to him. She has heard some news that implies he may be alive, but she can’t know for sure. If he is, she knows he’ll have gone to find more of their people in a different hidden place.

She is a lesson in contradictions. A dryad at home among the trees, a temperament that wars within her, longing for attention and battling through shyness. Juniper has known of her for as long as Juniper has lived, the voice in the forest that sings songs of such beauty they can make men weep. She blessed the camp of the hidden people often, holding court and blessing them with her songs and stories. Her boisterous personality could brighten any day, and she seemed to glow all the brighter in the presence of Juniper’s people. 

When Juniper’s home was destroyed, she was grateful to know that Astra at least was safe, that her voice still echoed through the trees and forests and glen, that she still has the potential to follow her own dreams and have the whole world fall in love with her.

Christian Porter is a 31-year-old hunter who has garnered talk about him throughout some smaller hunting communities due to his unconventional and mysterious methods. He’s met with the Winchesters on only a few occasions, but has proven a capable hunter and, even moreso, an effective informant on the actions of many groups of supernatural creatures. Despite his name having been passed around by hunters in the Illinois area, he’s a very reserved and secretive person, and never explains how he knows what he knows. The fact of the matter is that, although he moonlights as a hunter, Christian is a vampire. He was unwillingly turned after he and his boyfriend were targeted by a nest of them. His boyfriend didn’t survive, but Christian did and managed to escape. He’s only consumed human blood once and it was through being force-fed when he was turned. He keeps his bloodlust under control with animal blood and never preys on humans.Today, he tracks the movement of primarily vampire nests and where they might be looking for victims; he then promptly informs hunters with this.To this day, Christian has never told anyone -- much less another hunter -- what exactly he is. Although he’s been helping them in eliminating many vampire nests, he’s incredibly nervous that some hunters would target him, regardless. He currently lives alone in Chicago, Illinois, and rarely contacts people, aside from hunters he knows to give them information.
